Regular Season Round 15: Heilongjiang - Chongqing FD 77-97

NBL top team - Chongqing FD (12-3) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Heilongjiang (6-9) 97-77. The game was mostly controlled by Chongqing FD. Heilongjiang managed to win fourth quarter 34-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chongqing FD dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Heilongjiang's 46 and made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Chongqing FD forced 19 Heilongjiang turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard KaiFu Yao (196-83) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Chongqing FD players scored in double figures. American forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Ming Jin (185-90) added 6 points and 7 assists in the effort for Heilongjiang. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chongqing FD have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-3 record. Heilongjiang at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Chongqing FD are looking forward to face Hong Kong (#5) at home in the next round. Heilongjiang will play against Guangzhou L. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
