Ninth-ranked Jiang Xi (4-14) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Hong Kong (11-7) on Friday. Hong Kong managed to secure only two-point victory 105-103. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jiang Xi. American forward Craig Smith (201-83, college: Boston Coll.) had a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds (on 19-of-24 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and forward MingLiang Wei (195-82) chipped in 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M, agency: N.E.T.) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and forward Chi Wei (202-82) scored 23 points and 9 rebounds.
