Regular Season Round 15: Jacarei - S.Jose/Unimed 66-91

Bottom-ranked Jacarei (0-15) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 91-66 loss to second ranked Sao Jose/Vinac (12-3) in Jacarei. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. They shot 61.1 percent from the field. Sao Jose/Vinac had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Sao Jose/Vinac have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 12-3 record behind leader Bauru. Jacarei at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Sao Jose/Vinac will play against Mogi (#4) in Mogi das Cruzes in the next round. Jacarei will play at home against Paulistano (#3) in Sao Paolo and hopes to get finally their first victory.
