Regular Season Round 2: St Vallier - Denain 84-87

A very close game took place in Saint Vallier between Denain Voltaire and Saint Vallier. Top-ranked Denain Voltaire (2-0) got a very close victory on the road over bottom-ranked Saint Vallier (0-2). Denain Voltaire managed to escape with a 3-point win 87-84 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Power forward Julian Gamble (207-89, college: Miami, FL) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Jared Newson (195-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Pro One Sports) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Denain Voltaire and five Saint Vallier players scored in double figures.
