Bottom-ranked Jacarei (0-18) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 97-79 loss to eighth ranked Vivo/Franca (9-9) in Jacarei. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Jacarei's 36. They outrebounded Jacarei 38-25 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Vivo/Franca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Vivo/Franca's next round opponent will be Winner/Limeira (#10) at home. Jacarei will play against Liga Sorocaba in Sorocabana and hopes to get finally their first victory.
