Regular Season Round 1: Point Chaud - Spirou Monceau 76-50

Point Chaud used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Charleroi 76-50. The game was mostly controlled by Point Chaud. R.Spirou Monceau was better in fourth quarter 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding R.Spirou Monceau to just 7 points in third quarter. Point Chaud dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to R.Spirou Monceau's 34. It was a very good performance for American center Drey Mingo (191-89, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Julie Allemand (173-96) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Point Chaud players scored in double figures. Point Chaud's coach Pierre Cornia felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Charlotte Ippersiel (182-89) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Krystel Ballau (169-84) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for R.Spirou Monceau.
