The game had a very big importance for second-ranked White Eagles as it allowed them to take a leadership position. White Eagles smashed 4th placed Taby Basket in Stockholm 78-56. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. White Eagles led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. 24 personal fouls committed by Taby Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Hungarian-Bosnian guard Bojan Sormaz (187-86, agency: TSS Management) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points. Serbian guard Danilo Toskovic (195-92, college: SF Austin) helped adding 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five White Eagles players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Mattias Herlitz (190-94) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and forward Frank Nordin (198-90) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Taby Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Eskilstuna and Hoganas. Taby Basket at the other side dropped to the sixth place with one game lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
