Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kerri Shields (175-90, college: Boston Coll.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Mairead McNally (175-88, college: Stetson) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. American Katie Ganser (186-90, college: Merrimack) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Karen Meany (170-93) added 13 points in the effort for Meteors. Ulster Rockets will play against Brunell in Cork in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
