Regular Season Round 4: Malbas - Helsingborg 76-58

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Helsingborg (0-1) in Malmo. Visitors were defeated by Malbas (2-0) 76-58. The game was mostly controlled by Malbas. Helsingborg was better in third quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Helsingborg 47-25 including a 21-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Australian guard John Fitzgerald (193-84, college: Lindsey Wilson) who scored that evening 21 points and 8 rebounds and forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) supported him with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Malbas' coach Henrik Svensson allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
