Regular Season Round 3: Quimper - Saint-Brieuc 88-69

Very expected game when Saint-Brieuc (0-3) was smashed on the road by Quimper UJAP (3-0) 88-69 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Quimper UJAP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Quimper UJAP forced 19 Saint-Brieuc turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Fabien Herard (198-79) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Four Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. Forward Jimmy Lupot (190-83) came up with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Jahmar Thorpe (198-84, college: Houston) added 12 points respectively for Saint-Brieuc in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Quimper UJAP will meet Lourdes-Tarbes on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saint-Brieuc will play against La Rochelle and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
