Regular Season Round 3: Spojnia - Kutno 57-78

Date: October 12, 2013
Not a big story in a game when Spojnia (0-3) was outscored by Kutno (2-1) in Stargard 78-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kutno led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Spojnia to just 5 points in second quarter. Kutno made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Spojnia 32-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for forward Hubert Pabian (199-89, agency: Promotex) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) accounted for 14 points for the winning side. Tomasz Ejsmont (194-90) came up with 12 points and swingman Jerzy Koszuta (192-82, agency: Promotex) added 10 points respectively for Spojnia in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Kutno will meet at home Wilki Morskie (#5) in the next round. Spojnia will play against SIDEn Torun (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
