Regular Season Round 5: Souffel - Poitiers 62-66

Everything could happen in Souffel. at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Poitiers and 9th ranked Souffelweyersheim had identical 2-2 record. But Souffelweyersheim was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Poitiers 66-62 on Saturday night. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. Souffelweyersheim's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Poitiers (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Souffelweyersheim dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Poitiers will face bottom-ranked Lille Metropole (#18) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Souffelweyersheim will play against Saint Vallier (#16).
