Regular Season Round 3: Riviera Gdynia - CCC Polkowice 53-65

CCC Polkowice (3-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Riviera Gdynia (0-3) 65-53. It looked good early as Riviera Gdynia took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then CCC Polkowice had a 19-12 second period charge getting the lead and Riviera Gdynia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 53-65. Strangely Riviera Gdynia outrebounded CCC Polkowice 38-25 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for CCC Polkowice especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. It was a great evening for Australian Belinda Snell (180-81) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Russian guard Valeriya Musina (183-87, college: Lee) helped adding 14 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Danielle Wilson (190-88, college: Dowling, agency: Merit Management Group) with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Ukrainian swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. CCC Polkowice will play against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (#7) in Gorzow Wlkp. in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Riviera Gdynia will play at home against MKS Konin and hopes to get finally their first victory.
