Regular Season Round 1: AV Cantu - Giorgo Tesi PT 87-77

An interesting game for Cantu (1-0) which hosted in Cantu Tuscany Pistoia (0-1). Cantu managed to get a 10-point victory 87-77. The game was mostly controlled by Cantu. Tuscany Pistoia was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international Pietro Aradori (194-88) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American guard Brad Wanamaker (193-89, college: Pittsburgh) answered with 20 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech) added 19 points and 5 assists (made all of his seven free throws) in the effort for Tuscany Pistoia. Four Tuscany Pistoia players scored in double figures. Cantu will face Banco di Srd (#9) in Sassari in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tuscany Pistoia will play at home against Air Avellino.
