There was no surprise when 5th ranked Rieker KN (2-2) was defeated on the road by third ranked Inter Bratislava (4-1) 71-61 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Inter Bratislava. Rieker KN managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Inter Bratislava made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Justin Graham (193-88, college: San Jose St.) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 16 rebounds and Serbian point guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83) who added 17 points during the contest. Inter Bratislava will meet at home Prievidza (#5) in the next round. Rieker KN will play against the league's second-placed Iskra Svit and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
