Very expected game when 7th ranked PuHu (1-2) was defeated on the road by top-ranked BC Jyvaskyla (4-0) 91-81 on Thursday. BC Jyvaskyla outrebounded PuHu 39-28 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. PuHu was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Henri Jokinen (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Robert Juvonen (185-91) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side swingman Jarkko Aho (191-90) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Marius Van Andringa (189-94) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Jyvaskyla maintains first position in Division with 4-0 record. Newly promoted PuHu dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. BC Jyvaskyla will face KaU Koris (#3) in Karkkila in the next round, which may be the game of the day. PuHu will play on the road against Vaasan Salama and hope to win that game.
