Regular Season Round 4: HBA-Marsky - KaU Koris 71-83

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Helsinki where fifth ranked KaU Koris (2-1) won against one of their biggest challengers HBA-Marsky (2-2) 83-71 on Thursday. HBA-Marsky was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Timothy Frost (208-80, college: Utah) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Sami Syrjala (197-81) who added 15 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four KaU Koris players scored in double figures. At the losing side Julius Rajala (205-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Oskar Michelsen (204-95) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. HBA-Marsky's coach Antti Koskelainen rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. KaU Koris moved-up to third place in Division. Loser HBA-Marsky keeps the fourth position with two games lost. KaU Koris will face league's leader BC Jyvaskyla at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. HBA-Marsky will play against PeU-Basket and hope to win that game.
