Regular Season Round 3: Forca Lleida - Clinicas Rincon 73-79

There was a minor upset when Lleida Basquet (1-2) was defeated at home by Clinicas Rincon (1-2) 79-73 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 39-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Clinicas Rincon shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 63.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Ricardo Guillen (205-76) who scored 16 points. point guard Alberto Diaz (190-94) chipped in 16 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Four Clinicas Rincon players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Alex Llorca (192-89) who recorded 21 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Terrell Vinson (201-90, college: Massachusetts) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Clinicas Rincon will face Planasa NV (#14) in Pamplona in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
