Regular Season Round 3: Prat - Cambados 53-81

An interesting game took place in Prat where Prat (1-2) was upset on its own court by Cambados (1-1) 81-53. The game without a history. Cambados led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Cambados forced 22 Prat turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Cambados especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. It was a good game for forward Jose Merino (196-88) who led his team to a victory with 19 points. Swingman Ander Garcia (194-89) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. point guard Roger Vilanova (181-87) answered with 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian center Seydou Aboubacar (208-94) added 8 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Prat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cambados' next round opponent will be Fontedoso Carrefour in Avila and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Prat will play on the road against Araberri (#7) in Vitoria-Gasteiz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
