Regular Season Round 3: Polonia W-wa - Notec 74-77

Very expected game when Polonia W-wa (1-2) was edged by Notec (2-0) in Warszawa 77-74 on Saturday. Polonia W-wa was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 20-16 charge of Notec, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for forward Karol Michalek (207-87, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Mikolaj Grod (194-89) contributed with 24 points for the winners. Daniel Nieporecki (192-94) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Polonia W-wa. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Notec will face GTK Gdynia (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polonia W-wa will play against Korsarz Gdansk.
