The game in Rapla was also quite interesting. Leader TU/Rock (3-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Rapla (2-3). TU/Rock defeated Rapla 71-60 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. Rapla managed to win second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Rapla's 26. They outrebounded Rapla 48-29 including a 38-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international Janar Talts (205-83) stepped up and scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and international center Joosep Toome (208-85) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Slovenian center Ziga Fifolt (211-93) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Martin Paasoja (191-93) scored 10 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TU/Rock have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kalev/Cramo. Loser Rapla keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Parnu. TU/Rock will meet bottom-ranked KK Hito (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rapla will play against TTU in Tallinn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
