There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Monaco (2-2) defeated on the road higher ranked ADA Blois (3-2) 84-75 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 34-23 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Center Jonathan Tornato (210-89) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and Serbian forward Milutin Aleksic (203-82) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Lithuanian power forward Arminas Urbutis (205-86, college: Hofstra) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the former international swingman Cedric Ferchaud (195-80) scored 18 points. Monaco moved-up to tenth place. ADA Blois at the other side keeps the seventh position with two games lost. Monaco will face higher ranked Rueil (#7) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
