The game in Starogard was also quite interesting. Rosa Radom (2-0) played at the court of Polpharma (0-2). Rosa Radom managed to secure a 7-point victory 80-73 on Sunday. The game without a history. Rosa Radom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89) notched 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and the former international Lukasz Majewski (198-82) supported him with 11 points. Even 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by the former international center Cezary Trybanski (218-79) did not help to save the game for Polpharma. Lithuanian point guard Ovidijus Varanauskas (187-91) added 12 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rosa Radom will meet at home Kotwica (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Polpharma will play against Slask Wroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
