Regular Season Round 4: MOSiR Krosno - WKK Wroclaw 72-59

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked MOSiR Krosno as it allowed them to take a leadership position. MOSiR Krosno defeated 5th ranked WKK Wroclaw at home 72-59. The game was mostly controlled by MOSiR Krosno. WKK Wroclaw managed to win third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MOSiR Krosno dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to WKK Wroclaw's 26. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Marcin Salamonik (202-83) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Lukasz Diduszko (197-86) replied with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jakub Koelner (183-93) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for WKK Wroclaw. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MOSiR Krosno have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with SIDEn Torun. Newly promoted WKK Wroclaw keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. WKK Wroclaw will play next round against Astoria Bydg. trying to get back on the winning streak. MOSiR Krosno will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked MKS DG in Dabrowa Gornicza.
