Regular Season Round 4: Zwolle - Den Bosch 77-75

Round 4 in Eredivisie means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Zwolle where host Zwolle (4-0) edged league's leader Den Bosch (4-1) 77-75 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Den Bosch. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Den Bosch won third quarter 23-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zwolle looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American swingman Justin Stommes (200-88, college: E.Kentucky) fired 20 points for the winners. The other American import guard J.T. Tiller (191-88, college: Missouri) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Zwolle players scored in double figures. American forward Tai Wesley (200-86, college: Utah St.) produced 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Ralf de Pagter (200-89) added 9 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Zwolle have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Den Bosch at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. Den Bosch will play next round against strong Leeuwarden trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Zwolle will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Weert on the road.
