Regular Season Round 9: Brahe Basket - Malbas 52-63

Basketettan top team - Malbas (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Brahe Basket (1-4) in Huskvarna 63-52. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. Malbas dominated on the defensive end, holding Brahe Basket to just 5 points in third quarter. Forward Niklas Sellin (197-91) nailed 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Alexander Nilsson (209-90) accounted for 13 points and 9 rebounds. Jamaican center Hugh Robinson (202-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and guard Kristoffer Gronhage (185-92) added 12 points respectively for Brahe Basket in the defeat. Malbas have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Loser Brahe Basket dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. They share it with BG Lulea. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
