Regular Season Round 3: PGE Turow - Anwil 79-81

Date: October 24, 2013
Important game to mention about took place in Zgorzelec. Anwil (3-0) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging PGE Turow (1-1) 81-79 on Thursday evening. It looked good early as PGE Turow took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Anwil took control winning next two quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 2 points. Anwil outrebounded PGE Turow 38-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Bosnian power forward Seid Hajric (203-83) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican Paul Graham (190-85, college: Florida Atlantic, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 9 points and 6 assists for the winning side. The former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) came up with 17 points and the former international Filip Dylewicz (202-80) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for PGE Turow in the defeat. Five PGE Turow players scored in double figures. PGE Turow's coach Miodrag Rajkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Anwil will play against Trefl Sopot (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PGE Turow will play against Stabill Jezioro in Tarnobrzeg to get more than just one victory in their record.
