Bottom-ranked Gansos (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 90-89 overtime loss to thirteenth ranked Gigantes (2-7) in Ciudad de Mexico. The guests were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 17-16 run, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. Gigantes' next round opponent will be higher ranked Angeles (#10) in Acapulco and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gansos will play at home against Abejas (#3) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
