The game between Top Four teams took place in Sundsvall. 3rd placed host Sundsvall Dragons (4-2) lost to leader Boras Basket (6-0) 109-104. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sundsvall Dragons. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Sundsvall Dragons won fourth quarter 30-27. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras Basket made 21-of-22 charity shots (95.5 percent) during the game. His fellow American import Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) accounted for 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Tom Liden (202-87) added 25 points (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) respectively for Sundsvall Dragons in the defeat. Four Boras Basket and five Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. Boras Basket have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-0 record behind leader Sodertalje. Sundsvall Dragons at the other side keep the third position with two games lost. They share it with Norrkoping and Uppsala. Boras Basket will play against Uppsala Basket (#5) on the road in the next round. Sundsvall Dragons will play against KFUM Jamtland and hope to get back on the winning track.
