The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Kumamoto V.'s (2-8) road victory over 6th ranked Hyogo S. (1-7) 96-82 on Friday. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 33-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Kumamoto V. shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Lamont Jones (183, college: Iona) who scored 29 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Kumamoto V. maintains fifth place with 2-8 record. Hyogo S. lost their seventh game in a row. Hyogo S. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
