Regular Season Round 4: Cieszyn - Sudety 72-86

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Cieszyn (1-3) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Sudety (3-1) 86-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Sudety led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side center Tomasz Czajkowski (204-82) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Leszek Siwy (196-83) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Cieszyn's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sudety moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with AZS AWF K-ce and Pogon Prudnik. Newly promoted Cieszyn keeps the eighth position with three games lost. Sudety will face AZS Pol.Cz-wa (#8) in Czestochowa in the next round where they are favorite. Cieszyn will play on the road against the league's leader GKS Tychy and hope to win that game.
