There was an upset when much higher ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (2-2) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked Cambados (2-1) 83-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Cambados led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Fontedoso Carrefour's 30. Cambados forced 26 Fontedoso Carrefour turnovers. Swingman Ander Garcia (194-89) fired 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Alberto Rodriguez (206-75) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cambados' coach Yago Casal felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cambados moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Castello. Loser Fontedoso Carrefour dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Cambados will face Marin (#8) on the road in the next round. Fontedoso Carrefour will play against Araberri and hope to win that game.
