Blancos de Rueda used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Sevilla 81-68 on Saturday night. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Blancos de Rueda's pressure prevailed and they won that period 23-13 extending their advantage to 13 points. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Jamaican-American forward Omari Johnson (205-89, college: Oregon St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. Blancos de Rueda will face Valencia Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cajasol will play against Laboral Kutxa (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
