Regular Season Round 9: IK Eos - Boras II 109-80

No shocking result in a game when third ranked IK Eos (5-1) crushed 6th ranked Boras II (2-3) in Lund 109-80. The game without a history. IK Eos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 22-of-28 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game. IK Eos brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Boras II helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was point guard Adnan Karovic (188-88) who scored 31 points. Guard Gustav Nystrom (190-89, college: Hope) chipped in 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. IK Eos' coach Axel Wallin felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mohamed Nefatti (196-84) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and forward Dmytro Purdik (195-91) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for IK Eos. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Hoganas. Boras II at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
