Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Saitama Broncos (2-5) were defeated on the road by leader Osaka Evessa (5-0) 80-68. The game was mostly controlled by Osaka Evessa. Saitama Broncos was better in second period 22-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was also dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Marcus Capers (193-89, college: Washington St.) who led the winners and scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. point guard Kevin Galloway (200-88, college: Texas Southern) accounted for 9 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Saitama Broncos' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Osaka Evessa. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Toyama Grouses and Kyoto Hannar. Saitama Broncos at the other side keep the eighth place with five games lost. Osaka Evessa's next round opponent will be again Saitama Broncos (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game.
