Regular Season Round 3: Olympiacos - Ikaros 99-61

Olympiacos smashed Ikaros in Athens 99-61. The game without a history. Olympiacos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 63.8 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was the former international Stratos Perperoglou (203-84) who scored 22 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). International guard Konstantinos Sloukas (197-90) chipped in 15 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (200-90, college: Murray St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Yannis Gagaloudis (192-78) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ikaros will play next round against Panelefsiniakos trying to get back on the winning streak. Olympiacos will try to continue on its current victory against Kolossos in Rodou.
