Regular Season Round 3: AV Cantu - Vuelle Bsk PS 93-78

An interesting game took place in Cantu where VL Pesaro (1-2) was upset on the court of Cantu (2-1) 93-78. The game was mostly controlled by Cantu. VL Pesaro was better in fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Cantu players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Anosike (203-91, college: Siena) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Elston Turner (196-90, college: Texas A&M) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for VL Pesaro. Five Cantu and four VL Pesaro players scored in double figures. Cantu's next round opponent will be Lottomatica Roma (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. VL Pesaro will play against Montepaschi Siena (#1) and hope to win that game.
