Regular Season Round 3: Galil Gilboa - Hapoel Holon 60-80

We should not miss the game where Hapoel Holon (2-1) against Galil Gilboa (1-2) where guest Hapoel Holon crushed their opponents by twenty points 80-60. It looked good early as Galil Gilboa took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Hapoel Holon had a 16-9 second period charge getting the lead and Galil Gilboa was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-80. It was a great shooting night for Hapoel Holon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 60.0 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Ezequiel Skverer (188-89) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 4 steals. American guard Anthony Goods (191-87, college: Stanford) accounted for 15 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. Hapoel Holon's coach Lior Lubin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Rick Jackson (206-89, college: Syracuse) came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for Galil Gilboa in the defeat. Hapoel Holon's next round opponent will be Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#3) at home, which may be the game of the day. Galil Gilboa will play against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#1) in Nes Ziyona and hope to win that game.
