Regular Season Round 9: Evreux - Poitiers 83-67

The game with biggest result difference took place in Evreux. Local ALM Evreux (6-3) beat 9th ranked Poitiers (4-5) 83-67 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by ALM Evreux. Poitiers was better in third quarter 18-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ALM Evreux forced 19 Poitiers turnovers. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-Canadian Olu Ashaolu (200-88, college: Oregon, agency: Norton Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-British power forward Laurence Ekperigin (201-88, college: Le Moyne) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Justin Ingram (189-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ALM Evreux have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Le Portel and Chalons-Reims. Poitiers lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. ALM Evreux will face Saint Vallier (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Poitiers will play against Chalons-Reims and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProA just one year after relegation.
