Regular Season Round 3: Sozh Gomel - Svisloch 92-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Svisloch (2-1) on the court of Sozh Gomel on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by Sozh Gomel 92-79. The game was mostly controlled by Sozh Gomel. Svisloch managed to win fourth quarter 28-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sozh Gomel forced 22 Svisloch turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by Svisloch helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian forward Sergei Dadukin (198-83) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. International guard Kiril Sitnik (190-89) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Evgeni Ivanov (202-84) who recorded 24 points and 6 rebounds and guard Sergej Vabischevich (190-88) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Sozh Gomel is looking forward to face Borisfen (#8) in Mogilev in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Svisloch will play at home against Prinemanye (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
