Round 9 in ProB means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Fos-sur-Mer where host Fos Ouest (7-2) beat league's leader Chalons-Reims (6-3) 67-63 on Tuesday evening. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 19-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Fos Ouest dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Chalons-Reims' 20 and made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game.
