Regular Season Round 4: Stabill Jezioro - PGE Turow 65-86

There was no surprise in Tarnobrzeg where bottom-ranked Stabill Jezioro (0-4) was crushed by seventh ranked PGE Turow (2-1) 86-65 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by PGE Turow. Stabill Jezioro was better in fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward J.P. Prince (198-87, college: Tennessee) fired 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87) chipped in 15 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Coach Miodrag Rajkovic's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. American guard Chaisson Allen (192-89, college: Northeastern) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (203-90, college: Oklahoma) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. PGE Turow moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Trefl Sopot. Loser Stabill Jezioro still closes the standings with four games lost. PGE Turow will face Polpharma (#10) in Starogard in the next round where they are favorite. Stabill Jezioro will play on the road against Trefl Sopot and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
