Lions used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Guelph, ON 100-96 on Friday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Lions forced 22 Gryphons turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lions made 7 blocks. Gryphons were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch.
