No shocking result in a game when second ranked Alvik Basket (6-1) defeated on the road 11th ranked BG Lulea (1-5) 82-68 on Friday. The game without a history. Alvik Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to BG Lulea's 46. It was a great evening for forward Richard Hartmann (203-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Guard Marten Melinder (194-92) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Andreas Von Uthmann (197-96) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Joel Svensson (184-94) scored 15 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Alvik Basket keeps a position of league leader. BG Lulea lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with five games lost. They share the position with Brahe Basket and Orongo. Alvik Basket will meet KFUM Blackebergs (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BG Lulea will have a break next round.
