Important game to mention about took place in Orchies. Fourteenth ranked Nantes (4-6) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 18th ranked Orchesien BC (2-8) 70-69 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-69. It was a very good performance for swingman Nicolas Gayon (190-82) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 6 rebounds. American Allen Durham (198-88, college: Grace Bible) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Durham is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Sadio Doucoure (200-92) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Austen Rowland (186-81, college: Lehigh, agency: Court Side) added 19 points in the effort for Orchesien BC. Orchesien BC's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nantes moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Poitiers. Orchesien BC lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Nantes will face Lille Metropole (#17) at home in the next round. Orchesien BC will play against the league's second-placed Fos Ouest having rather not much hope for a victory.
