Regular Season Round 2: Brandon - UBC 74-76

An interesting game was also tough home defeat of Bobcats in a game in Brandon, MB versus Thunderbirds (#7) 76-74. Bobcats were very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-74. Forward David Wagner (206-92) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Tommy Nixon (198) supported him with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Even 19 points and 7 rebounds by Emerick Ravier did not help to save the game for Bobcats. Forward Jordan Reaves added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. Five Thunderbirds and four Bobcats players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
