But Badgers were not able to use a home court advantage and were defeated by the opponent from Toronto, ON 93-85 on Saturday night. Badgers trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 31-26 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 85-93 at the end of the game. Blues made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game. Badgers were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Greek guard Alex Hill (196-90, college: Cornell) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Devin Johnson (193) contributed with 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Brandon John (188) replied with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Tshing Kasamba (196) added 19 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Badgers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Badgers' coach let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
