Date: November 2, 2013
Bottom-ranked Bambitious Nara (0-8) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to sixth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (5-5) 85-64 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fukuoka Rizing forced 20 Bambitious Nara turnovers. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and swingman Michael Dale (197-84, college: S.Illinois, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Dale is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fukuoka Rizing players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Joe Chapman (193-84, college: Marquette, agency: I.D.S. Law) with 23 points and forward Anthony Brown (203-86, college: Oklahoma St., agency: KMG Sports Management) scored 8 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukuoka Rizing maintains sixth place with 5-5 record. Bambitious Nara lost their eighth game in a row. They still closes the standings with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
