Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Wisla Krakow and 8th ranked AZS AWF Krakow had identical 1-3 record. This time Wisla Krakow used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Krakow 79-67 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Wisla Krakow. AZS AWF Krakow was better in third quarter 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was guard Jakub Krawczyk (191-91) who scored 17 points and 9 assists. Forward Mateusz Piotrowski (196-88) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Przemyslaw Ostrowski (197-86) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Jakub Dwernicki (179-86) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wisla Krakow (2-3) moved-up to seventh place in Group C, which they share with Piaseczno and Tur Bielsk Pdl. AZS AWF Krakow lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Wisla Krakow will face higher ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AZS AWF Krakow's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Krakow AZS AGH Alstom.
