No shocking result in a game when Universitario de Ferrol (2-0) smashed at home Universidad de Valladolid (0-2) 59-34 on Saturday. The game without a history. Universitario de Ferrol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Universidad de Valladolid to just 6 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Universitario de Ferrol forced 19 Universidad de Valladolid turnovers and outrebounded them 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Ashley Arlen (187-90, college: Wayne St., NE, agency: Gamble Sports Management) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds.
